音楽家として音楽プロデューサーとして1970年代より活動。
アフターディナーや少年ナイフ、トクサノカンダカラ（art bears 「the art box」）など、
各プロジェクト毎に独自の音楽理論を展開、音楽表現に直結した音響システムを開発・導入する。
その独創的な芸術性とクオリティの高いテクノロジーの融合は国内外で高い評価を獲得し、音響の鬼才と称され周知にいたる。

Yasushi Utsunomia

Active as a musician and music producer from the 1970s. 
In each of his projects, such as After Dinner,Shonen-knife, Tokusa-No-Kandakara (Art Bears “The Art Box”),
he has advanced original music theories and developed and introduced acoustic systems that are connected directly to musical expressions.
The fusion of unique artistry and high quality technology that he has accomplished has gained high valuations in and out of Japan.
He is well known as a hermetic quester of sound. 
His goal is to create the ultimate form of music.
